Well, obviously we'll thrash Giants with our new roster. The only positive to come out of this week's news is that we might perform better with fewer rotations. We've seen that before with teams.

We lost three but we gained one. I'm hoping we hear about other recruits very soon, especially a centre or a capable forward. Given Bridges was cut first I thought the club would have had someone else ready to replace him.

I'd like to say we will win today and a few weeks ago I'd say this would be a guarantee.
Although Surrey have in recent weeks responded and I reckon will be up for this game though.
I hope the Eagles approach it head on and don't come out slow.
Will be soke great minutes for Spencer and Larry coming back from injury if we can dominate.
As for the other game I reckon Giants will be tired from their battle with Plymouth.
Although as I said earlier in the week with Leicester losing 3 players and replacing only 1 this is probably the best time for any team to play Leicester right now.
I'm going to go Eagles and Riders for the win though as I feel Leicester will find some way to pull this one off.

Siege mentality and a smaller rotation may help Riders tonight. Hoping Kimbal starts and plays more minutes. Giants will be boosted by their win against Patriots and Lee playing, despite this being the 2nd in back to back games for them.

Goodness, maybe Eagles really are beginning to gel. Surrey threw a few punches tonight, and Eagles’ defence could still be better, but Newcastle seemed to move up a couple of gears when needed to complete a 100-87 win.
The headlines will all be about Rickey McGill who hit 30 points with an efficiency rating of 41. Maybe he’s just a slow starter because he was really unimpressive for the first few weeks of the season. At one stage he was 1/11 from the 3-point line but, since then, has been shooting close to 50%.
And good to see decent minutes and production from Larry Austin and (especially) Scott Spencer,
Now the challenge is to stop it all going to their heads……..a return match v Surrey beckons on Friday.

What a game from Ricky McGill! Good to see Eagles grinding Surrey down on a night where (McGill aside) they looked a bit leggy and didn't quite hit the heights of Thursdays win against Lions. 8th to 3rd in the span of a few weeks!

Fully in control tonight and minutes too for Ndoukou and new signing Russell. Kimbal steered the team so well, leading by example. Conner, Walker and others all did a great job. Three point shooting was impressive.
Defeated Giants easily without 3 Americans and Bowman who's still recovering from injury. Good night's work. I loved it and think the rest of our supporters did too.

That's an excellent weekend down south for the Eagles. The team have really turned a corner and are showing the form that was expected during the summer. Felt they were a little lax on perimeter D, but still did enough to put away a decent Surrey side.
Steutel and the rest of the coaching team have done a good job pulling these players together after a worrying start.
