Some sad news for the Pats. I hope they find someone as dedicated who can take them over.
Obviously everyone is probably concerned for both Plymouth and Manchester since they are in need of new owners and Plymouth did nearly go extinct a few seasons ago before the resurrection as the Patriots.
If that US TV deal has paid off know I hope some rich organisation over there or somewhere (with good intentions) looks to take them over and keep this franchise alive.

Or if Plymouth Argyle could step in and take them on. Plymouth Argyle FC Pilgrims. Plymouth Argyle BC Patriots.

Unfortunately for Plymouth, I think Manchester would be the preferred option of any potential US investor.

What’s the old saying about who leaves a sinking ship first?
Pats about to disappear or the league have found someone to take on a small city club that doesn’t turn a profit and relies on children paying for basketball to fund the pro players.
Could be either option I’m sure

Pats about to disappear or the league have found someone to take on a small city club that doesn’t turn a profit and relies on children paying for basketball to fund the pro players. Could be either option I’m sure I think not turning a profit might be down to the venue situation, if someone can solve that then I don't see why they could be a good BBL club. They certainly seem to have a loyal fanbase. If the reputation of the sport hadn't been left in tatters by what went on at Raiders before they folded, maybe the venue situation would've been easier.

The venue situation doesn’t change unless someone is willing to pile in millions, quite simply pavilions have bbl clubs over a barrel. Fans are leaving though, many games the ticket website shows hundreds and hundreds available. Nobody wants to take their family to watch a loss on a Tuesday or Sunday night. The league are playing their part in killing pats too
