Do any other teams have supporters that stand out from the crowd…..
Eagles used to have Dougie the Eagle until he moved up to Scotland for work Lions still have St Pat, even though he has calmed down a bit
Riders now have a Kimble MacKenzie stalker, I don’t know his name but every week he sits behind the team bench in a red t-shirt with Kimbles face on it wearing a fake moustache and a bald head cap on, He also carries a Big head picture board of Kinbles face. Strange to say the least, but harmless
So who do your club have…….

The Rocks had Mr Holloway, I would never miss a home game and he would always be there at every single home game too. I don’t support Caledonia Gladiators so not sure if he goes there now

I don’t support Caledonia Gladiators so not sure if he goes there now Do you mind if I ask why you don't support the club after a name change? Yeah, no problem. It wasn’t really a decision, just the way that I naturally felt. I was absolutely gutted to lose the Rocks, especially the way it came about. I did go to the opening game but it was just like watching two teams I don’t support play. I was even at the Trophy Final when they won but I felt nothing. I was happy to see Gareth Murray and the rest of the former Rocks players that I’d followed for years finally win something, absolutely delighted for them but I didn’t feel anything for the actual club. It was just like when I’d watch another BBL team lift a trophy in previous years, I was just wishing it could have been the Rocks I think if you are a Caledonia Gladiators fan you must be having a great time just now, won a trophy last season, having a men and women team, both teams playing in Europe, new arena. It is literally everything that I ever wanted for the Rocks. My life would revolve around the Rocks and their schedule so it has been a big change but I do find myself following the NBA a lot more now whereas before the only basketball that I truly cared about was here. In the future if there is another Scottish team maybe I’ll be able to support them but I’m not sure I’ll ever be as passionate about any sports team as I was about the Rocks

Behind the Kimble impersonator at Riders is a guy who always shouts "sub please" when a player gets too many fouls in a quarter. Probably not very famous outside of those seats, but always gets a laugh from me.

Never heard of him LOL sounds like a right Weirdo… I do Love getting a “Sub Please” in especially an early 1st quarter one. One thing our bunch must learn is how to March a player off when on 5 fouls, Its not just “Left Right” when he’s walking off, But shout in time with his feet, so you could get two “Left” in a row if he stands still.

Im still a fan of the team but its never quite been the same. I always think how cool it would have been to see the likes of Durant, Westbrook, PG13 and now SGA wearing the green and yellow playing in Seattle. Its just not the same but I stick with OKC because I couldn't imagine choosing another team. Unless Seattle gets a new one!

I remember for some years I refused to go watch the Bears when they played home games in Burgess Hill, which is not that near Brighton really. I didn't feel that it really constituted a home game, although after a while I caved in and dragged myself over there, but it was never the same as the games at the Brighton Centre.

Hopefully some of the stuff they're doing at Caledonia might tempt you back one day? Certainly part of the attraction for me with Eagles is the community stuff as well as the BBL stuff. Really hope that is the case, I know what a huge hole the Eagles disappearing would leave in my life.

You know what's interesting though - having been a Bears fan, there's simply no way I can ever support Sharks now, despite living in Sheffield. But if for some odd reason the Sharks folded, or moved to a different city, and Sheffield got a new BBL team - I would probably be a fan! I've been to a few Sharks games and there's just no way. It's simply going as a neutral to watch hopefully a decent game of ball.

I didn't feel that it really constituted a home game, although after a while I caved in and dragged myself over there, but it was never the same as the games at the Brighton Centre. I can relate. I felt a disconnect with Sevenoaks Suns in the WBBL when they started playing games at Surrey Sports Park - over an hours drive from Sevenoaks. I know Suns didn’t really have a choice in the matter, but I can’t help but feel it was a contributing factor in having to withdraw from the WBBL… fans in Sevenoaks probably found it hard to support a team playing an entirely different county, and fans in Surrey probably felt no real connection with a team ‘based’ in Kent.
