Pleasant for us to make a comeback for once, even if we don’t quite close it out.
I feel like we can at least get a respectable number of wins this year for a change.

Surrey lose by 3. Officially the ‘close, but not quite’ team of the season so far. So frustrating.

If I was a Surrey fan I'd be frustrated right now with the way things are. Seems like they can hardly hold it in a close game or close games out. I mean they might not be the strongest team in the league but with Justin Robison and Andrew Lawerence on your team as well as Padiet Wang I would have expected a little bit more. I'd if it was the odd game but I think theirs been to many ones that got away now for Scorchers. Although the Eagles have had their struggles. From what I seen on Sky the other week and from following the results. I think Surrey is the only game I feel confident that we can win without question. Because if it is tight going into the 4th Quarter I would trust Surrey to be unable to hold it.

Surrey missed Robinson, made Sharks ball pressure a little more effective. Lawrence was excellent. Sharks look very deep now with Glasgow and Depeche to come back - interesting to see how Atiba manages that. But last night when we upped the defensive intensity we took control of the game - rotating waves of players in. This season feels like we can get the buckets we need from anywhere on the bench - it was Stewart that provided the Spark again at the beginning of the fourth. Special mention to Ramsey who has taken a big leap this season in terms of playing in the flow of the offense and Pipkin's unreal hops.
