I was thinking about it yesterday would you say having a consistent starting 5 is best or is it better to change it depending on squad performance or team your facing?
I know starting 5's have the odd change temporary change due to availability and injury. But this season watching the Eagles I'm not even sure what our starting line up is supposed to be.

I don't think it matters who your starting 5 is. What Eagles need is 9 players fit and playing. 3 attacking guards rotating so you have 2 on the court at a time. 2 centres taking turns. And 4 other players each playing about 20 minutes each.

I was just wondering as I used to see teams play with one starting 5 line up however in recent seasons and with the quality of benches across the BBL improving. I have noticed teams changing the lines up between games. With London for instance having such star talent I wonder asides from the money how they keep players happy with their place in the rotation? Like I wonder if certain players only want to be starting 5 and aren't happy being 7th or 8th man if they know they can be a starter on another team? Are coaches having to adapt their starting 5's for games and is it a smart or crazy idea?
