Eagles@Riders should be an intense one after last time.
Will the hatred still be there between these teams or will it be a more calm affair.
If Eagles can win this then I could potentially see us going on a run of Wins but Leicester away is always a difficult one to win.
I hope Leicester play like they did in the 1st half against Surrey but I doubt Rob is going to allow for that performance again especially against Newcastle.

If Sharks are still without Ramsey and Pipkins this could be tricky. No doubt Nick Lewis will come to play! Sharks rolling the dice and replacing Terrell Allen at guard spot with Prentiss Nixon. Not sure if he's available for Saturday. Allen showed good hustle but, for me , the ball was a little too sticky in his hands. |

What the Hell just happened to the Scorchers?
Leading by 11 at half time; by 1 at 3/4 time … then only scored 7 points in the 4th at home and lost by 18.
Even after two big wins, it’s like they’re afraid of getting a result.

Superb second half performance probably the best of the season. Always nice to beat the eagles and pay them back for the war from a few weeks ago.
We got in the guards faces and the mistakes followed.
Rob clearly losing patience with bridges feel he may not be around much longer

Great game to watch,
58-38 in the second half, Rider’s totally dominated that half and fully deserved the victory,
Defoe played the pantomime dame spot on,
But as usual Green was a total arse.

It was a four point game when Defoe went off for his 3rd foul……. He came back on when it was a 25pt deficit |

To be fair, DD was the only Eagle with a positive score while JJ's stats were comparable with MVP Jared Holmes. Nothing much else positive to say about this performance - they couldn't even get a full house judging by all the empty Morningside seats

Lots of macho posturing from some players on both teams - fed raw meat to the fans. Didn't think we'd win that easily, especially with Lall out and Thomas having a quiet game.
Nevertheless, despite some weak defending in Q1 we eventually got our act together and squeezed out Eagles' stars. McGill was hitting outrageous 3 pointers from NBA range. Understandable we weren't getting out to those but others on the perimeter should have been challenged better early in the game. An easy win in the end. Defoe won the Oscar for overacting each time a foul was called against him. Slicing the ham extra thick. Holmes had a fantastic night. What a performance.

The defense in that game was shocking from Eagles. Two seasons now Steutel has overseen awful perimeter defense with two separate teams. Such a waste having him in charge of this team.
Riders took apart Eagles with ease tonight. This Eagles team just don't even seem to slightly care about playing defense, they're embarrassing from the coach down over. I had tickets and a hotel booked to go to East Kilbride in 2 weeks time, I'm glad I booked a refundable room as I'm not wasting my weekend on this shower of shit.
Well done Riders, schooled Eagles tonight. Be nice if a few more fans turned up to watch it though, that looked a dreadful crowd.

Really strong team performance by Sharks. Ramsey and Pipkins back but it was Nichols and Stewart that stood out tonight.
