Some very good points there. The clock is ticking on 777 and it gives me no pleasure to write that. It's rumoured that the PL have canned their attempt to takeover Everton. Court cases are ongoing in the States and I think it's just a matter of time before the house of cards collapses. Administration gives the other teams a problem. 777's assets including the BBL would be up for grabs. Control of Lions and the BBL could be had for a song. We could be no further forward as a league even if Lions are screwed. My solution, I'll start the bidding, £1. 🤣 Sold to Mac! |

My opinion on this has changed a lot in the last year. I don't have a local BBL team and I support London Lions in EuroCup. I visit family on the Wirral a few times a year. Last year I thought it would be fun to time my visit with Cheshire Phoenix Vs London Lions to see Sam Decker playing up close (this didn't happen it was just an idea). This year if I was going to try to fit in a BBL game in Ellesmere Port I can think of 6 other fixtures I would rather watch. 1 Sam Decker is fun. A team of Sam Deckers is ridiculous and not fun. It would be better if there was a European Super League so London Lions could play in that instead of the BBL, or if they had a development team in the BBL. Looking forward to seeing you there, can guarantee a decent game ( unless it's against Sharks who always seem to cause(?) an awful game against Nix. |
