Great article. I hope Tosan is the first of many upcoming Brits to make the NBA and hopefully stay in the league too. I dont know if many Pistons games will make the NBA UK TV schedule though. |

This is a really great story. He played lots of different sports but basketball is the one he loved and pursued. This is why I want basketball to be a popular professional sport in the UK along with our other major sports. And I have a problem with football academies that force talented young sportsmen for focus entirely on football. Football, rugby, cricket, tennis, basketball are all very different sports. Everyone is going to have a preference and should have an opportunity and a choice. |

Been confirmed that Tosan's been waived by the Pistons for now - sadly didn't get a lot of chance to prove himself in pre-season.
Still got himself into a great position and will most likely get opportunities with their g-league affiliate.

I think the BBC do a great disservice to British Basketball, I looked at their page and it's virtually all about the American game. Won't be visiting again anytime soon.
