Is there much of an expat community in the US? I'd actually be more inclined to watch it if I lived there, than here!
You know who else might watch? Basketball players hoping to get contracts overseas. They'll watch and think they could play to that level and might be more imclined to accept an offer to come over rather than go elsewhere.

I think it would be appealing to someone who really wants to be a professional basketball player but knows they're not going to be NBA standard. There will be a lot of people like that.

MLS is broadcast in the UK, even though it's inferior to the Premier League. Presumably some people watch it. To Americans I imagine the BBL probably would be viewed similar to how the UK views the Hyundai A League. Which is the Australian football league for those who don't know. They might see it one day and be curious but I can't imagine them thinking it as highly as the NBA. Aka TV filler at times when there is no US-based live sport.

I wouldn't watch Australian football as wouldn't know anybody, but there might be a market of college supporters who want to see how their ex-players are doing now they've turned pro. I'd certainly tune in out of curiosity in that circumstance.

Bally sports are on the verge of insolvency and are losing the vast majority of their major sports contracts, so while it may sound impressive, the actuality is something very significantly less.

Or on a more positive spin on it Amazon are looking to invest into Bally Sports 👍🏼
