New venue for BBL Play off Final Needed?

It seems that Eunice has damaged the roof of the O2 complex at Greenwich.

Possibly time for the BBL to see if the NIA/Arena Birmingham is available on a Sunday in May.

That been damaged since 2019 when Riders won the playoffs and blew the roof off it.

For obvious reasons I’d be more than happy to have the finals in Birmingham,
Who wants a long trip to the smoke.

I think the NIA, or whatever it's called today, is a much better venue anyway. It's easier, and cheaper, for people to get to, and in a much better location.
With lots of food and drink options just a short walk away.

I think it depends on if and when it can be fixed afterall it's not the entire roof it's only partial blown off.
Geographically they'd probably keep it in London and maybe look at somewhere like the Cooper Box.

Although the NIA would be a good alternative or if they want to take a risk they could try a different city entirely like Cardiff to make it interesting etc..

I went to the Wembley Arena as well back in the 2013/14 season when the Eagles played the Wolves in the playoff finals.
But it felt to dark in there and wasn't very well lit.
I wasn't a fan of that arena.
But Birmingham and Glasgow are nice though.

Take the finals around the country - it’s not like there’s a natural home for basketball like Wembley for football or Twickers for rugby

Seriously? I’m predicting the O2 will be operational again within the next week of two, let alone by May.
