I'm assuming that Lions have informed any supporters of the venue change as apparently there no mention of a BBL game on Sunday for them to watch. I don't think Lions have a game on Sunday.

Lions are playing Sharks away on Sunday,
Game was originally set for a Friday in April but moved to this Sunday, no reason given but Eurocup Semi Finals are around the original date so assuming that’s why, not sure why LL have agreed to play Weds, Thurs & Sunday though

I'm surprised with this Wolves Team their playing tonight from Lithuania that no one has jokingly said it doesn't remind m them of the old Worcester Wolves. Would love to see Worcester back in the league. 🤣

Finishing 3rd could hurt - Turk Telecom at home in 1/8 Finals
Then Cluj at home for Q-Finals
Which then would lead to a potential best of 3 semi v Paris

A BBL team would be more affordable than a Premiership rugby team. But the university isn't going to fund it, so it would have to be privately funded, in which case would it even be allowed to use the arena? Probably neither team is coming back unfortunately.

Enjoyed the game last night despite the result and looking forward to the playoff game v Turk Telecom on March 5/6. It was fun to see the ex London Royals "Twins" working the crowd again. It was a bit of an "own goal" not giving Lukas Fabianski a shoutout for supporting the team with his son. Well done for getting a legendary West Ham player courtside, but a missed opportunity not to actually mention it to the 5k fans in the arena!

Finishing 3rd could hurt - Turk Telecom at home in 1/8 Finals Then Cluj at home for Q-Finals Which then would lead to a potential best of 3 semi v Paris Given finishing 2nd was always going to be a challenge, I think the way things have worked out we've got one of the better play-off routes... Turk Telecom only qualified for the play-offs when other results went their way last night, and whilst then (potentially) facing Cluj away in the quarter-finals certainly won't be easy it's better than what the alternative would have been - Paris away. So not having to (potentially) face Paris until the best of 3 semi-finals is a good result in my books. I say this knowing none of it will be easy. In fact, under the new format if London had finished as they did last year they now wouldn't have even progressed to the play-offs, so whatever happens this is already a significant improvement on last season. Now, if only they could make it work financially too...

Turk Telekom are not a weak team and only a bad start to the Eurocup campaign put them down in 6. It was also be like a home game for them with the amount of Turkish fans that will attend the copper box. Cluj away won’t be easy, a great team, venue and fans.. and then the possibility of Paris in the semi finals!!! The other side of the draw looks easier to me on paper, although there aren’t any really easy games in the Eurocup playoffs. But it would have been nice to avoid Paris until atleast the Final! I like London’s chances in the best of 3 games. But not so much in a 1 game knockout. Let’s hope I’m wrong:

I might give a look at this although after their performance in the Cup final if Lions were to crash out the Eurocup. Would their team suddenly lose all motivation?
I know last years team didn't lose motivation and remained dominant till the end. Although the team from the previous year looked like they couldn't be bothered the moment their were knocked out the BCL.
So far I cannot see them not trying in the playoffs even if they are knocked out Eurocup in round 1. But will be curious to see if it does have an effect.

Looking forward to meeting them in the final , and beating them again!! However interestingly the final game for both of them I think is at the EPSV

Any idea when they will confirm the date for the TT match? It will be either the 5th or 6th of March Now confirmed - London Lions v Turk Telecom Ankara, Wednesday 6th March. Tip-off time is 6pm according to the EuroCup website... which is an odd time for a home (Copper Box) game. It could be a mistake, or it could be something to do with EuroCup play-off rules and how the games need to be scheduled (there are 3 other games that night).
