I would like to disagree especially after the shocker result tonight. Although given the talent stacked on London. However regardless of the result I'll be curious to see if Surrey have been able to build and prove stronger then last season.

In all likelihood this’ll be an easy win for London.
But I do really hope Surrey have a comparatively successful season this year, they deserve it. And I’m looking forward to seeing Justin Robinson back in the BBL.
It would be great to see Surrey in the Playoffs.

As expected a London win but for Surrey I would say that's not a bad result.
Looking at the roster sheet though where is Sam Dekker I thought he signed a huge contract extension?

Unless they have recruited his twin brother he was on the London bench. I guess there will be some 'load management' going on with European competition in mind.

London did it a lot last season… playing a sort of ‘B’ team against teams they don’t think are a real threat. It’s saves the stars of the team for bigger challenges and gives the backups some valuable experience. If you’re in a position to do it it’s USUALLY a good strategy. On another note, I was really pleased to see Justin Robinson have a good game in his first game back in the BBL. I hope that continues.

Dekker is still recovering from his injury last season, he didn't play any preseason. Matt Morgan also picked up a small ankle injury in preseason
