London Lions player Miye Oni has signed for Orlando Magic. Before playing for London Lions he played for New Orleans Pelicans, and before that Utah Jazz.
This seems significant for the BBL. It can be a serious choice for a top level player as part of their career, not just somewhere to go after the NBA.

He wasn't really that good for London. Although I do get the link as he very clearly has NBA level athleticism but nowhere near NBA level shooting.

He's signed an exhibit 10 contract, he doesnt have a roster spot It's not a guaranteed roster spot or a protected contract, and can be converted to a 2 way contract later potentially but it's still a legitimate NBA contract. Max Struss was on one with the Heat initially and sure worked for him! |

It could lead to one but its mot one. Kavell Bigby signed 2 his rookie year and never got a roster spot. I doubt he will either, hell be in the g league. No shame in that and im not trying to diminish his accomplishments, just had a bit of city royals feel that article

William Lee signed an exhibit 10 deal with the Timberwolves straight out of college. Don't think anyone would consider him an ex NBA player.

Don't remember much from him last year but good on him for making it back to the NBA.
Even if it is a 10 day contract it good to see him given an opportunity.
I wonder if this means NBA scouts are actually paying more attention to the BBL now?
