I saw an advertisement for Odeon cinemas today for a Japanese Managa basketball flim called "The First Slam Dunk"
Apparently this flim was released last year in 2022 but it is being released in the UK next week.

Due to having Netflix, Amazon and the Disney Plus services I don't often visit the cinemas these days.
But I did wonder if a flim like this is really going to benefit British Basketball in any way.
After all given the fact 777 have opted for an All Stars Championship which I suspected was with the purpose of attracting the casual or new fan into the sport.
It seems like a odd movie for Odeon or the cinema companies to bring out given how people tend to question basketballs popularity in the UK.
