Hi guys during the off season when little sport isn't being played I tend to sometimes watch a few sporting documentaries like 30 for 30 or "Welcome to Wrexham" etc...
Given some of the excitement not to mention unexpected drama that can happen in BBL. I'm surprised the BBL or any team has never had a documentary made.
It got me thinking and for a bit of fun if your team, or the BBL did bring out a documentary what would it be called and what would it primarily be about?

It's happening, at least north of the border. www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/2023/boot-dreams-and-ballers-bbc-three

I think something about the early days of the league when it first got started - what were the challenges, how did they engage fans, interview a few old timers who played back then to get their perception and how they found it, and what do they think of the league now compared to then, etc.

It's such a pity that there was no documentary on the Rocks, think the only thing connected to them was a show about the Rockettes and it was on a channel that is utterly useless to most in Scotland, BBC ALBA. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01pkmrcWe all know the reason why there's a documentary about the Gladiators and it's because of the new ownership. To give them credit it didn't take long to get silverware compared to teams from other sports, mainly aimed at that team who play in sky blue and have football's most dangerous striker, Erling Haaland

Although theirs a few BBL stories in my opinion that could make an interesting documentary such as... -The Eagles in the glory days -777 buying the Lions and taking them to Europe. -The short lived East London Royals -Solent Kestrels making it to the BBL Trophy Final as an EBL side afew seasons ago. -That one time Plymouth was coached by an Australian coach who wasn't exactly qualified. I would watch any one of those titles.

I'm definitely not against the idea of one
How about the rise & fall of BBL in Merseyside
Or one on Sir David Murray and his involvement with the sport
The 777 takeover is a good shout too

They could do a series covering the history of each club. I found this one, ott presenting but some great memories. He also has a history of Sharks and one on Billy Mims.
One on the play-off final 2021, I wouldn't call it a documentary though.
