I think Giants take a slim win at home, then all to play for in the second leg

Bristol looking set to go deep in the playoffs so I reckon two wins for them in this quarter final.

To me this would have been a better game for Sky Sports as I feel it is more likely could go either way and I don't think they have showcased this match up this season.
I noticed the game on Sky is Sharks vs Riders on Sunday this time instead of Friday.

I think Manchester will win this leg by single figures, but Bristol will win the 2nd leg in double figures to progress.

Wow Olison was red hot in the second half. Really professional team performance by Bristol.

Thought Giants got sloppy in last few minutes and let it slip away rather than stemming the bleeding and maximizing their (slim) chance of a turnaround in the second leg.

Ouch what on earth happened to Giants in the 2nd half tonight. Looks like their going to need a really big performance and a big away performance as well if they want to recover from that one.
I wonder if the next game could now sadly be the last we see of the Giants unless find a financial backer for next season?

I wonder if the next game could now sadly be the last we see of the Giants unless find a financial backer for next season? I wasn't sure whether Manchester would get a win or not last night, but I certainly didn't expect a 26 point defeat. Really surprising, especially after a fairly good start. It's going to take something amazing for them to proceed now. I have a lot of respect for Bristol and what they've achieved this (and last) season. They've quietly become one of the strongest teams in the league. As for your second point, I don't think the BBL would give up on Manchester just yet. I suspect they'd continue to back them for at least another season if a new buyer isn't found yet, it's probably easier to convince someone to buy an active basketball team than a defunct one. It'd would also be beneficial for the league overall too.
