Eagles getting absolutely battered by Lions who are having a one of their good shooting nights. No suprise really given Lions only have the A team to play due to injuries.
Is it just me or do Lions play better in the BBL without Dekker and Koufous?

Cheshire Plymouth first half was plain terrible basketball, so bored i turned it off, looks like cheshire plaued the second half!

Well I watched until the end of the 3rd and thought I'd spare myself the torture.
Despite not having they're best team out Lions still made light work of us today.
I suppose seeing Hamlet on the bench is a huge concern for us as looking at the table now we must defeat Gladiators again on Thursday and then defeat Plymouth by 10 points in order to qualify for the 8th spot.
The only other thing I will say this though I don't know what her post playing plans are but I did really enjoy Azania Stewarts commentary.

A lot of heart shown by Riders to come up with that W What a 3 from #99 Commentator called it when he said how calm Riders remained despite being about 6 down near the end. That stayed the same and they trusted each other to play their part. |

Just an awful play from Fletcher to end that game. Obviously earned the right to try it but it was telegraphed and he had options given he had three on him. Well defended Riders.

Excellent defence rather than an awful play. Manchester almost always look to put the ball in Dirk’s hands in a last-play situation like this, but Leicester denied the pass and then forced Fletch to his right. You can argue that he might have looked for a pass but he’s not exactly known to turn down an opportunity for an assist so I’m inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt. Smart defence from a well coached team (and I’m from Newcastle so not a foaming Riders fan!) |

I very much doubt whether Eagles will make the play-offs by beating both Glasgow and Plymouth away, but they have absolutely zippo chance unless Hamlet is fit and ready for both games. And that will suit London because, whilst they will still beat a full-strength Newcastle team, they will absolutely kill Plymouth (if they want to….) |
