Other then Glads to beat us and Riders to defeat Plymouth I cannot predict the other games.
Sharks being on form I would probably back them against Giants and Flyers I will back against Nix.
Although tommorow night I hope to try enjoy the final home game of the season for the Eagles.
If we can get one last win then that would be a bonus and a great way to bring down the curtain.
But against the recent BBL Trophy Champions I don't fancy our chances.
Although seeing most our squad back last week apart from Manumi if our injured party have their fitness back then I reckon we will give it a good go and leave it all on the line tommorow.
Otherwise it's going to be another masterclass humiliation in front of the sky sports cameras.

Talk about a game of two halves. Last home game of the season and finally we come good. After a poor first half and a better third quarter the Eagles piled it on in the fourth. Mockford in particular lit it up from range with some outrageous shooting. Cali got a bit brutal but had no answers. I need to watch the fourth again as there were a couple of off the ball incidents which left Cohn prostrate.

Well, what a way for the Eagles to end the season!
To be honest after that whilst I'm glad we won I think I would rather we didn't make the playoffs and saved ourselves the beat down against London.
As it was nice to finish the season at home with a win.
Strange game throughout as whilst we weren't clumsy with the ball we just couldn't buy a basket in that first half.
And I felt Caledonia were in control up until the 4th Quarter when we took the lead.
It was cool to see some Caledonia fans in as well.
Justin Gordon was phenomenal tonight throughout but I felt our fortunes didn't change until Hamlet, and surprisingly, Mockford got going.
I suppose I felt with it being the final game of the season we were determined to leave it all on the line.
As for the officials I thought they were okay and referee fairly although I was surprised they missed Coach Murrays time out call.
And how on earth they missed Sloans cheap shot on Cohen is beyond me!
I'll admit I missed it whilst I was there since I was watching the ball.
But after watching it back Sloan is lucky to not have been ejected after that.
I know Cohen might have atagonised him with a hand slap but still a massive overreaction.
To me I think the BBL probably should issue him a discipline for such an unsportsman act as he was lucky the other Eagles players didn't smack him one.
If anyone is looking for it, it's at 2:01 mark on YouTube with 5:02 left to go in the 4th Quarter.
And Mockford had every right to be furious at the officials.
However I think it was that point that really fired both the Eagles and crowd up.
And I could tell there was some tension between the 2 teams at the end as I could see some chatter between Hamlet and 2 Gladiators players at the free throw line even when the match was clearly over by that point.
It made me wonder what was being said but whatever it was wasn't enough to cause officials to step in.
After tonights match I suppose considering we have one more match against Gladiators next week.
If the players aren't over it then it could make next weeks clash a little more spicy.
But for now I will take tonights victory and say well played Eagles!

Just got home from the weirdest experience at the VMA. Not only did I dream the Eagles won, I saw Ben hitting 3s from way outside the arc and Justin scoring from anywhere inside it. The crowd including the Gladiators were so loud I’ m amazed they didn’t wake me up !

I still doubt whether Eagles will make the play-offs but this at least proved that the coach hasn’t lost the players, and that they have some fight in them. Glasgow on Thursday evening could be quite tasty. The 4Q scorers (especially Mockford) will rightly get the plaudits, but Hassan’s 4Q defence was immense. Blocks, took charges, rebounds, the lot. |

Did Patriots stay on the bus considering they arrived late,
Men Vs Boys last night and 1 spoilt brat in the name of Dusha.
The guys an absolute Twat and a liability to the team.
How do you lose your head in the first half, getting ejected on just 3 fouls.
It definitely rubbed off in the second half as most of the rest of the team also lost their heads and the ability to score.
It was very nice to see us demolish Patriots by 43 points to bring up the 43rd consecutive victory against them.
Big shout out to Little Sam (Hope I get his name correct) who made a massive effort to visit all the BBL arenas this season with the Morningside Arena completing his collection
Fantastic to see Marc Loving back in the roster and back on cracking form, Whelan also found his lost spark.
If anyone’s interested I voted for Evan Walsh for player of the season, It’s easy to go for one of the big point getters.
But whether he’s on form or not, if he scores or misses he always gives 100% and you can clearly see his enthusiasm when he’s on court.

I can't believe he had the nerve to do it in front of Hassan French who was surprisingly cool about it. I reckon if French had have pushed him after that then Sloan would have voluntarily left the court and ran back to Glasgow crying like a baby the coward he is. |

Having now seen the Sky coverage ,Sloan should 100% have been ejected,and armed with the footage,BBL should 100% ban him from the remaining matches. It fired up the Eagles though, and gave them the intensity to win, so maybe we need more violence against us to improve our defence !

Ironic you say men v boys when the game finished with rhe riders boys (walse, bowman, vduki etc) against the men on plymouth and Plymouth still couldn't outscore them! |
