If Eagles are practically out of the Playoffs they are now just playing for their pride, so could be dangerous.
But they are lacking in confidence and form, so even without Loving if we play like we did against Lions (apart from the first quarter) We should be fine.
Don’t forget it’s Retro game day…..
I shall be in a retro Blue 2001 Riders jersey worn by a certain player who played for both the Riders and the Eagles.

I can only see today being a real crucifixion for the Eagles.
Riders could probably play dressed in Easter Bunny costumes and we'd still find some way to snuff it.
Things already seem hopeless but if Plymouth were to get back to back weekend wins then I reckon that is their ticket 100% punched for the playoffs.
As for the other 2 games Nix won a tough battle against Giants but Sheffield from what I saw the other night are looking really good right now.
Between what I seen the past 2 weeks I would back Sharks in that one but it could go either way.
The final game I would probably say London as I imagine they'd be treating the games this weekend as warm up matches ahead of their big dance in the Eurocup on Wednesday.
Although I can imagine because of that Lions might also play soft or a weaker but competitive squad in order to avoid any unwanted injuries.

Nix battled hard again but looks like injuries finally caught up with them as Sharks pulled away in the fourth.
Sharks with a balanced attack but Nichols and RGJ really taking over at the end of the season. Evans is a Shark hunter!

Game of two halves alright for Riders. Action Jackson to the recue - big time! He was fantastic but the rest of the team all played their part. Another very good performance from Love. Thought Eagles would use French much more playing in the low post?

I think Rob figured out how to defend against Eagles and read the riot act at half time. It was really noticeable how much more aggressive we were in offence as well right from the start of Q3. We speeded up play and didn't allow Eagles to set their defence.
Meanwhile, Jackson carried on scoring freely with 3 pointers and getting to the hoop.

decent day for Cally - pick up a road trip win and Giants lose, so all in own control to secure the home court first round advantage that comes with 4th place

His finishing around the rim is erratic at best and if he gets fouled, he ain't making free throws. His handle isn't great either. |
