First of 5 games in 10 days for Nix, 4 of them away and with a short bench. Hope they've had their Weetabix!!!

I noticed the Giants vs Nix is on Sky which I remember being a massacre at the start of the season for Nix. I hope Cheshire can make it entertaining. London vs Leicester I would back Leicester although if both teams are playing hard it should be a good dress rehearsal for Lions in their preparation ahead of the Euro Cup playoffs next week. Meanwhile for us whilst I wasn't impressed with Sheffield on there last visit to Vertu Motors. Given the role they have been on lately and how bad we have struggled tommorow. Whilst I would be optimistic for a win now I'm wondering in what fashion will we lose tommorow? A.Sheffield beat us by playing like the 76ers. B. The Eagles turn the ball over and forget how to play defence and run point. C. The refs somehow blow it for us.

If Loving's unable to play owing to injury sustained at Plymouth then can't see us beating Lions.

It could be A, B and C Spacejammer, especially if Hamlet doesn’t return !

It could be A, B and C Spacejammer, especially if Hamlet doesn’t return ! To be honest seeing Plymouth is playing Surrey aswell if the Scorchers don't win then this could really ice our season even if we somehow beat the Sharks today. But I think rather then focus on praying Scorchers defeat the Patriots I'm going to focus on hoping the Eagles beat the Sharks first. If both results go our way then I suppose you can really call it "a good Friday".

Scorchers have become a good bottom half team without winning recently, would love too see pats lose, Newcastle win and them steal 8th on the last game of the season

Hamlet and Mockford suited up. Mockford with a taped up ankle.

Eagles look awful tonight…

Eagles were 21 points down after about 15 minutes, half finished 36-50. Sharks shooting the lights out, Eagles being inventive in finding ways to turnover. It's almost like one team wants the play offs, the other...

After going up big, felt Sharks got a little sloppy and made harder work of this one than they needed. Koch, Nichols and RGJ were key in steadying the ship. Hamlet was back but off the pace after his injury. Johnson was dangerous all night.

WOW! What an exciting comeback from Riders in Q2. Phenomenal, especially without Loving. Really resilient determination not to go down easily. Fought to the wire. Proud of all the team but a special mention for Walshe who did so well tonight.

The Eagles turn the ball over and forget how to play defence and run point. C. The refs somehow blow it for us. If you selected answer A tonight then congratulations you guessed the answer as to how we were beaten. First off well played Sheffield, compared to last time they were here they were alot stronger as a team and I could see how they have only lost 1 game in their last 7. Ramsey especailly I thought was mischievous player to mess with and looked a nightmare to guard. Back to the Eagles though whilst it was nice to have the whole team back (apart from Mamuni) we once again looked absolutely clueless and a team unfamiliar with each other. And I can understand and forgive the likes of Hamlet since it was his first game back from injury for him and Mockford I could maybe give the benefit of a doubt a little. [br However with Stetuel saying in the programme they have had a good week in practice. Then I dread to think what a bad week in practice must look like. In the flim Spacejam the original when MJ askes the toons if anyone knows how to play basketball? That was how it felt tonight at times the way we turned the ball over and were clumsily picking up fouls. I'm surprised with how he was fuming that he didn't consider putting Moore on as atleast it would have been something different. Although towards the end we came close to taking it to the wire I felt the victory would have been cheap considering it felt undeserved by the way we were in the first half. Only one more home game against Glads next week and then hopefully next season we will comeback stronger this time and better organised next season. As the only way I see us making the playoffs now is by default if Manchester Giants ending up pulling out the league due financial issues. So much for it being a good Friday.🦅👎

You know the old saying "you can't win a game in the first quarter but you can lose one". That.
Hamlet understandably off the pace. Only Johnson and Cohn came out of it with any sort of credit.

If Loving's unable to play owing to injury sustained at Plymouth then can't see us beating Lions. On the other hand, we came very damn close. Love has shown in recent games why he was hired.

The two teams which have blown more winnable games than the rest? - Surrey and Newcastle.
Which explains why Patriots will make the play-offs.
