Considering Riders are definitely not on form right now….Will Plymouth finally get a W over us.
It’s now 11 consecutive seasons without a victory Vs Riders in all competitions
Also
It’s 40 consecutive victories over Plymouth in all competitions
It’s the best consecutive wins Vs any teams in the BBL. I’m pretty confident that Riders will stretch it to 41 by the end of tomorrow night.

Riders will win this but a tight win against the pats in their current form is like a defeat for a team like Leicester. I reckon a 20pt plus win and a bit of much needed confidence back into the riders

I've done the maths on this, and if Leicester lose tonight there's no way they can beat London to the league title. The best they could do would be to equal them, and as London have the H2H it wouldn't be enough. So that would just leave Bristol as challengers, who would need to win all of their remaining games including a significant win against London.
Someone tell me if I've got that wrong!

You didn't need to bother with the maths LTFan. There's no way Leicester can beat London to the league title.
Personally I don't give a crap about our winning streak vs Plymouth. And whilst I obviously want us to win tonight, I don't much care if the margin's 5pts or 25. What I want to see is Carrington Love play major minutes and at least be given a proper opportunity to become the highly productive and successful player he's been everywhere else he's played. We've not heard much from the guy since that 20 and 6 game vs Cheshire last month. And I don't think this 15 mpg bench role is really agreeing with him. He's been a key starter and major minute getter on every team he's played for since his Junior year in college. And those teams have, by and large, been successful.
I get the impression Kimbal has become a real Rob Paternostro favourite, and understandably so for the most part. He's playing probably the best basketball of his career this season. But let's be honest here, the Kimbal Mackenzie-led Leicester Riders aren't really looking like that fantastic a basketball team. If we're the same team come playoff time as we are now, I'm not brimming with confidence that we even make the final, never mind lay a glove on Lions.
We've got a month's worth of virtual dead rubbers now to try and make ourselves a better team. And getting Carrington up to speed seems like our best chance of accomplishing that. I don't really see what we're going to learn or how we're going to improve just plodding along with the current formula for the rest of the season.

Strange how a win can feel like a loss. Riders did their best to throw that one away. Need to improve considerably on Friday if we are to trouble Bristol.

Sometimes it’s hard to get motivated when playing such a poor side like Patriots,
Apart from the end of the 4th quarter I thought it was a pretty dire game to watch.
The arena atmosphere was severely lacking,
It will be a different matter on Friday when the Flyers roll into town.
Oh and by the way that’s 41 consecutive wins Vs Plymouth

That was hard to enjoy, apart from taking the points by JUST winning. Flyers should be a walkover on Friday. Oh, wait...

So, mathematically, if on Friday London beat Surrey and Leicester beat Bristol then London win the league. Friday night is going to be a fun night of basketball! I suspect Leicester v Bristol could be the more entertaining of the two games, even though all eyes will be on London.

Well, it may have been an unconvincing win against a not very good side but at least we tried something a bit different. Couple of ugly turnovers for Love early doors but once he hit that three I thought he settled down and distributed the ball quite well. Clearly no one gives a shite about his five productive and successful seasons playing a decent standard of pro basketball elsewhere, so in a further attempt to persuade people this guy isn't a complete waste of oxygen I'm gonna throw out a stat... He actually leads not only the team but the league in assists per 40. Fletcher is second on that list. Jordan Taylor third. Isn't shooting the ball well or often and I still think he's playing very much with the shackles on. Like a player who's more concerned about not messing up than actually making plays. But I hope his move to the starting 5 is something we persevere with. Even if it doesn't affect the minute distribution too dramatically it might at least give him a boost psychologically.
