Difficult to get motivated for this one to be honest. Even if we play well we'll find a way to chuck it away. I'll probably have one eye on the game and one on the football, hopefully one result will go my way.
I ain't too sanguine though (as Jeeves would say to Wooster).

I just caught the Eagles vs Manchester game yesterday as I have been so busy.
To be honest for most games these days Eagles either seem to get robbed or throw it away in the final quarter.
However if the Lions are overly shattered from their battle with Turk Telekom then maybe we do have a chance.
Although we are still going to have to push them as hard as we did last week.
And pray the officials actually know how to ref a game of basketball this time.

No Dekker is a big miss for lions however hamlet missing amongst others for eagles puts a hole in eagles scoring potential

I don't I'd be too excited about strolling past the second worst team in the league without their two best players the day after playing Turk Telekom! Funny how Lions manage to play their A team (less injuries) in a meaningless game against the short handed Eagles the day after a hard game in Eurocup but couldn't manage this against Glads in the Trophy semi final 🤔 |

Defoe is an absolute pro, but if Hamlet is out Eagles are going to struggle to get points on the board over next few games

I wasn't expecting to see Dekker last night after his injury in the closing seconds the night before, but I hope it's just a case of them resting him and letting him fully recover rather than anything more serious that could see him out for a number of games.

Well that game sucked as an Eagles Fan.
Was catching up on the game just now and by the end of the 3rd Quarter I gave up as it became apparent the Eagles weren't going to push Lions like they did last week.
The Cooperbox seemed really dark as well when watching it back.
Whilst I started to wonder again if the Eagles could make some sort of resurgence to catching Plymouth for the playoffs.
All I can say is the door is starting to close in on them.

I wasn't expecting to see Dekker last night after his injury in the closing seconds the night before, but I hope it's just a case of them resting him and letting him fully recover rather than anything more serious that could see him out for a number of games. looked and sounded more than just resting in the pre game chat Azania mentioned she seen him in a boot - then in the post game footage when they were still talking about the game you could see him wander on the court and clearly had some form of boot/support on his leg. picked a ball up and looked like he was going to shoot - and coach maybe made him think otherwise |
