I actually fancy Cheshires chances in this one.
With London playing Europe tonight and a big Cup final on Sunday it wouldn't surprise me if London played their 3rd string and rested their strongest.
Plus seeing how far ahead they are in the league I think they can afford a loss.

Also add in that Cheshire are playing really well and London Lions 3rd string players are actually very good I think this could be a cracking game. |

Could be a chance for Nix to get a surprise win. TBH can't really see Dekker and the others be asked to play 3 games in 6 days with the league game definitely at the bottom of the pile. However when Lions are up in Cheshire in a couple of weeks we could get stuffed!!

I agree this could be an upset for the Lions. My hope is Ovie and Oni get a fair few minutes post injury to adjust before the final.

They're both been missing for ages, not certain they'll be risked in tne Cup final but suppose they could be given a "gentle run out" against Nix. Think Larry Austin Jr. etc isn't the ideal game for a warm up for them particularly the way and speed we are operating at the moment. |

Instead London Lions will be asking for a donation to their charity partners city harvest London which Lions will match up to £5000, to feed London’s hungry families. It’s a nice gesture. Hopefully some local people will take the opportunity of a cheap/free night out.

Had a sneak feeling we could have pinched this but..........no chance. Lions with their usual rotation everyone will end up with 15/ 20 7nder their belt, Nix on the other hand stuck with illness/ injury playing with 7.
Till we're sticking at it, hopefully don't get too tired
Got the YouTube programme on, the half time programme was just an advert for how wonderfull Lions are.

Not wishing to moan, but I'd have put money on a Lions p,ayer getting MOM, I know highest point scorer isn't always the most important but did think Larry Austin must have been close, Azania/ co commentator didn't even discuss it.
Great effort from Nix, bit fed up though having a whole youtube broadcast about how wonderful the Lions are and 777 and how they're changing the face of British basketball all on their own, there's a number of other clubs doing their bit too..

It was the whole Lions experience from start to finish, don't remember other clubs on YouTube to be so intent on gheir own team. I thought the HT stuff was ok - and helps build the identity. If it was different from other clubs - is that not just cause other clubs have not created content to use at HT?
Last Gladiators game I watched on youtube, come HT there was an ALi Fraser interview - same way there was the Ovie Soko one tonight. Think it then went to a BBL advert and then the back soon. So I just assumed the HT stuff will be based on the home team and it will be as short or long based on how much content they have produced that can be put out.
