Definately one to watch against Giants, I think their tactics are just to score more points than your opponents. Had a fair size number of spectators not able to get in the watch a few weeks ago and it's definitely a game we need to win with Lions and more games against Riders to come.

Then revert to type and give up a huge run Outrageous scoring run from JWG at the start of the second. Fantastic game from Vijay King too. Really puts our terrible recruitment in perspective when Bristol can get absolute gems like those two. Aside from a solid contribution from Denz our bench was awful again, as was our outside shooting.

Watched London game and Guys like komagun aren’t ready to play 20 minutes bbl basketball. He should be playing 38 minutes in nbl and developing. I don’t feel him or weluche are good enough yet.

You could probably say that about a lot of Eagles and Sharks players!

Eagles a combined 11/47 from behind the line in two defeats this weekend. That, and a complete inability to defend their own 3 point line, is part of the reason why they are so abject this season.
Watson-Gayle terrific today but why you go under a screen when he’s already hit three in a hurry is frankly beyond me.

Eagles seem to have the worst of everything from this roster. It's probably one of the oldest if not the oldest rosters, yet they make rookie mistakes every game. I find it incredible that I watch a few BBL games at the weekends and listen to the odd podcast, yet I know more about opposing players than our players do?!?!?!?! It's like there is no scouting report at all. Even my 8 year old was pointing out a wide open Dirk Williams on Friday. They should be embarrassed.
I'd rather see us have a young, vibrant team who make mistakes than this bunch of plodding idiots. I had high hopes going in to this weekend but this season can do one. Really hope Steutel has learned from this experience, not sure I can take another one like this.
Also, I'd like to see a different look to the rest of the coaching staff. Surely it can't be a coincidence that Stronagh has been sat looking clueless on our bench over the past 2 seasons, 2 of the worst in our recent history.

To be honest on sky the other night I loved Acharas comments when he said theirs been so much change in Newcastle it wouldn't suprise me if they changed city by this point. Yeah I feel as though by this point I have written this season off. We're starting to look more and more like last seasons team now and have nothing much to play for. Even if we make the playoffs we will face a heavyweight such as London or Leicester. My only hope is that Marc and whoever is recruiting the team will have learnt from this. And next season have everything in place at the beginning instead of going through players like we're playing Top Trumps.

The body language of Mockford, Kennedy and D Johnson you can see they clearly don’t care, and are passengers right now, tend to agree about the Stronach comments as well, will do well to finish above Surrey the way it’s going

If you had kept Fletcher I think there'd be a different set of results. His invaluable experience and ability to score plus create assists would have helped to settle in newcomers - although if there's a revolving door on players that's going to be tough for any team. Fletcher wasn't the problem. Threw the baby out with the bathwater. I wish we'd been able to recruit him for Riders.

As I said before Fletcher was one of the players from last season I would have brought back and watching him for Giants makes me miss him even more. Although even with Fletcher one player carrying a team cannot win us the league. However him and Hamlet working today would have been a fantastic partnership though.

I probably agree they're not at regular BBL minutes level yet, but there's no harm in playing them good minutes when Lions have control of the game. They'll get much better experience playing against pros and get used to the Lion's system

I'd agree, but I don't think we'd that much better. I'm not sure if it was a case of 'letting him go' either. He was surrounded by rubbish last year and we saw how that went.

Rahmon Fletcher... The solution to all life's problems. According to every British basketball forum that's ever existed anyway. Personally, I reckon if Eagles had Fletcher instead of Cohn they'd still be stinking. Cohn actually looks to be playing pretty well now.
