with every positive - an arena where they can dictate when they are playing games and increase revenue as some earning methods now in their own control
there is a negative - this quote from the article to me sums up issues that across basketball (no doubt) in many if not all parts of the country
joined up thinking sees an existing elite basketball academy in the area being part of the plans (in same way Hatters are now part of the plans) - or instead we can have whats is often the case in sport and re-invent the wheel, duplicate and dilute etc.

It looks great. Sharks have plenty of empty seats at Ponds Forge, so I have no concern that it’s too small. It looks like a top class facility in quite a central location within Britain. I can see it being used like the NBPC in Manchester, for cup finals in various indoor team sports. The only downside for me is Sheffield already has Ponds Forge, the EIS Arena, and Sheffield Arena. I’m not saying Sheffield has too many indoor arenas, just that they have a lot whilst other cities don’t have any.

Can look nice and fancy but is 2000 enough? In the grand scheme of the BBL l, I would it is too small. But in the case of Sheffield it might be too big. Hope they improve their game day experience (music, announcer etc.) As it's woeful at the moment.
