Wednesday night is EuroCup night. This is the first of 5 EuroCup rounds in this block. London Lions are 7th in group B at the half way point. The game is at Wembley Arena. It has already sold out, which I believe is 8,500 seats for basketball.
The game is at 7.30pm and is being broadcast by BT Sport.
Feel free to discuss.

Really excited for this game, Tel Aviv has said they expect over 1500 away fans! Not overly confident Lions will get the win with current injuries but the atmosphere will be great

And finishing in the playoff spots, which I am confident they will do. A win would be a bonus.

A great effort for a group started this year

tough result - thought they were going to hold on, and then thought they would at least get OT with the final drawn up play

London sadly took to much time on the final play which costed them. But it was a good game to watch and an exciting crowd. Is it just me or does anyone else find European basketball crowds look like their at a football match. I dont think the drums and chanting stopped during the game.

The last quarter was tough, it was ours to lose but a short roster and foul trouble cost us. If we had Oni, Ovie and Hruban it would have been a different result.
A great atmosphere though and a very memorable game, onto the next!
I've got Trento, Wroclaw and Paris away days booked in, hoping to keep my 100% win record away from home.

Incredible game. Lions just pipped at the end. Lively European atmosphere. I don’t know Wembley Arena but from home it looked great. Quite a few empty seats. Maybe they have agreed a maximum capacity with the arena and the local police.
Lions lost the game but that was another win for British basketball.

That was quite a night! Lions were unlucky not to take the W - best I've seen them play. Atmosphere was quite incredible - it was like being at the Nou Camp. The Tel Aviv fans literally never stopped singing and chanting right through the game. Given that, the Lions fans did really well to make themselves heard. Looking forward to the next Euro game v Gran Canaria on the 24th.

Tel Aviv PG Jordan McRae was mvp. He scored 36 of their points. Hapoel Tev Aviv Centre Chinanu Onuaku was also noteworthy with a double double (17 rebounds 10 points). He has an underarm technique for free throws which works for him. There were 51 personal fouls in the game which is a lot and it felt like it. To be honest I expected a fairly comfortable win for Tel Aviv. I don’t think coach Schmidt or any of the London Lions players could be criticised for that performance. They were a lot closer to winning than probably anyone expected.
