Riders and Patriots have both today released players
Riders have unsurprisingly released Derryck Thornton
Patriots have released Antonio Williams due to a activation in his contract and is set to head overseas for the rest of the season.

London have lost a player as well via Twitter.
Kareem Queeley had knee surgery and will be out for the remainder of the season.

A good decision because he wasn't working out for Riders, unfortunately. There will be other guards who could improve our prospect of beating Lions in the BBL Cup Final. Expect an announcement soon I reckon. |

If last season is anything to go by Williams will still claim to be deserved MVP despite only playing half the games

Gonna be annoying if Williams ends up somewhere like Austria or Slovakia. Always happy to see a serious player move to a top league but infuriating if they’re just on the gravy train. No knock on him if so - only get one career. Just crap for the league.

Gonna be annoying if Williams ends up somewhere like Austria or Slovakia. Always happy to see a serious player move to a top league but infuriating if they’re just on the gravy train. No knock on him if so - only get one career. Just crap for the league. He's gone to KR Basket in Iceland. Currently in last place in the Icelandic first league |

Interesting to see what type of player Rob will hire. Although Mackenzie & Washington do a good job we saw in the last 2 seasons what a huge difference a top quality PG can make to a team. I think we'd see an immediate benefit to DNH's game for a start.

They're doing a lot of damage to basketball in the south west and spreading lies about the clubs who are working hard to develop youth basketball
