Will be an easy win Plymouth although margin impacted by Williams departure and the game the next day. Does anyone have any Plymouth team news?

Some players have a lot of bags to pack so nothing suspicious about him still being around. I did hear that Eagles were interested but he wanted to go somewhere with a warmer climate.

So what was the point in that game? If I had paid to watch that I'd demand a refund. Sport is supposed to be competitive.

Makes a mockery of the bbl, if you want to move forward they've got to stop playing amateur sides

Wow, I know the game ain't over yet but a 39-6 3rd Quarter! I dont think I have ever seen a bigger quarter deficit.

They should just be taking teams from D1, the Scottish and Welsh teams are essentially a bye in to the next round. We've had some genuinely competitive games with D1 teams, although I think the gap has grown over the past couple years.

If they want to include a Scottish team it should be a team of the best players available, not just a SBC club team. They would still lose but it would be an opportunity for Caledonia Gladiators to see the best amateur players in Scotland playing against BBL teams. There could be some emerging talents.

Agreed, can't see the point of such games. Experiencing higher standards, as they steamroller past you or dunk over you? Giving Scottish basketball more publicity, definitely not? Money, a 5a.m. start on a coach taking only a squad of 8 players, presumably as amateurs others weren't able to commit a couple of days to it?
Nope, still can't see the point!

BBL being competitive reduced when the salary cap rule was removed - so what is the gap in a league game that we should ask for a refund? (Trophy games excluded from what you advise is the gap that triggers refund cause a) its a cup and mismatches expected and b) history shows its rare these games with invited sides are close)

See if the Phoenix Suns or Detriot Pistons fancy some guaranteed sliverware. 🤣

To be fair to the Scottish teams we're far superior to that country whose golden boy has decided to retire from kicking a ball for 90 minutes at the age of just 33.
