Ive had a look an episode 11 is the last one i listened too and that does feature sheffield but i feel it was when talking about a different player. I dont know which other team has a player with a gb passport but plays internationally for another team?

They definitely mentioned Ratinho as the one. Can't remember exactly why. Something along the lines of a European living and working in the UK when we left the EU.
The rant was about Oni, and the fact that DVO was cut and replaced with another GB guy...who can't play for GB. Not complaining about him or Lions specifically, but how the rule works given he plays for Nigeria and not GB.

Thanks for the info guys, I do remember a rant about Miye Oni but never got around to listening to it carefully.
It was in Episode 10, and Dave F did talk about Ratinho having "settled status" at 14 minutes into the podcast.
Normally I wouldn't dream of questioning anything that Dave Forrester says, being an eminent brief and all, but I still cannot see how Ratinho could possibly qualify for "EU settled status" even if he did start living in the UK just before the residency deadline of 31 December 2020. Usually to get "EU settled status" one must have lived in the UK for a continuous 5 year period (known as continuous residence).
Maybe I'll join Twitter, and tweet Dave Forrester to see if he'll explain it to me directly.

Oni thats the one! I sort of agree with him, why give a non gb player and gb advantage.
Would he include Dusha in this I wonder? Chooses to play for albania ovwr gb
