If Mackenzie missed the Eagles game because of illness he will hopefully be ok for this semifinal. Probably our best chance of reaching a final this season. Let's hope Washington recovers from his injury as well. We are weaker in the low post with Menzies so need the rest to be ready. Loving had a nightmare against Newcastle but he's too good to be down for long. They'll be desperate to beat us so we have to bring all our energy from the tip-off.

Big game for London tonight. I think any expectation that London will win all 4 domestic titles this season is somewhat unrealistic, even the best assembled team in the world can have a bad game - and in all 4 of these competitions that alone can cost you the title. But I'll go as far to say that I don't think it's unreasonable to expect London to win at least 3 of them.
It was a dominant win over Bristol just a few days ago, which is a good sign. But Bristol tonight have home advantage, and I just hope London don't go into this game overly confident and underestimating what is still clearly a very good team.

Jordan Taylor playing for London - does this mean that Best has been de- registered for the BBL competitions?

Lions controlling this semi but Flyers not giving up. Taylor's an impressive PG.

Lions win by 20. Simply the better team, although Bristol deserve some credit for getting the gap back down to 11 (from 25) in the final quarter.
Good game for Koufos, Dekker and Hurban, and a good debut from Taylor.
I’m looking forward to Weds night… London play Paris in the EuroCup and we’ll find out whether it’ll be Leicester or Caledonia joining them in the Cup final.

Won comfortably enough but the scoreline see-sawed from a 20 point lead down to 7. Whelan, Loving, Jackson and Mackenzie combined well and Menzies had his best night in a Riders shirt.

I was so caught up in the London/Paris hype I forgot this other semi final was taking place last night!
So it’s a Lions v Riders double bill in the BBL and WBBL Cup Finals on the 29th Jan!

Thought as a whole we kept Gladiators at arms reach, What’s with Bailey with his offence charges, he needs a new party trick as that one gets him in trouble.
We did well considering we had a bug going through the camp this week, Menzies definitely had his best game for us and needs to continue as it looks like DNH has a bit of a back injury, The hot water bottles were on overtime last night with the back injuries.
Mackenzie definitely ran the show for us last night and was far more effective than Thornton, He’s a fantastic asset to bring off the bench.
So now it’s Lions in the final Can we beat them…… Yes we can As others have already proved they are not invincible, But we will need to be on our best form to bring the cup back home.

Well here’s a wild prediction - I have a sneaky feeling that (if they can all get fit) Leicester’s togetherness will prevail in the cup final………
……..and for what it’s worth I’d use Mackenzie as my primary PG and use Thornton off the bench as an out-and-out scorer.
Of course I have a strong track record of getting these things wrong!
Merry Christmas all.
