Seeing sheffield cameras pan to show all 19 of the fans at the game is shocking There were quite a few made the trip up from Plymouth as well. Sharks attendances are shocking, I don't know if it's down to their turgid brand of basketball or the depressing dump of a gym they play in. They've got a much bigger arena to fill next season, be interesting to see how it goes. |

Just caught up with the scores and that seems like some fourth quarter by the Eagles. I'll catch up on the game tomorrow.

Eagles needed the win and just squeaked home.
The 4th quarter was a real performance - some excellent stops (French really does shore up the defence) and scored on 15 of 18 offences.
Of course, they now need to repeat that level performance or something close to it on a regular basis, something which has eluded them for just about the whole season to date.

Cannot believe Scorchers lost that. Had multiple 10+ point leads and still lost. Just devastated. Feel like game management was a big big part of it. More a case of poor shooting from the line. 50% not good enough |

Just watched the Eagles@Scorchers game now.
Been really busy with work as well which is why I haven't posted in a while.
Nice to see we got a win even when we were short handed although sitting 3 and 10 at 9th in the League was certainly not where I hoped we would be come Christmas.
However if we can play like we did in that 4th Quarter and keep on avoiding being absolutely enhilated in defeats perhaps we can make a good run in the 2nd half of the season and go deep in the Trophy.
