Eagles to recover from 20 down to lose by only 1 point ! You forget the part where Surrey will probably be missing key players and we still wouldn't be able to beat them.

The better performances from Eagles lately suggest they could come out on top in this game
However, I'm not sure mentally they know how to actually win a game right now

Disastrous end to the first quarter for Scorchers there, both sides look like they belong at the bottom of the league tbh
I think Scorchers on paper have a better team and should be picking up the occasional win though

Just give us a % chance of winning the game please IRF Just let me check the score so far and I will! 71-70 Surrey lead with 6 mins left to go I give Eagles 30 per cent chance of winning from there

Eagles doing enough at the death, tough clutch shot from K.Johnson and two made free throws from Hamlet. Relieved to get the win, veteran performances from Defoe and KJ making the difference. If Eagles could get some scoring out of Everett and French they'd be a very decent team IMO.

Decent game scorchers started well but eagles did well at the end, maybe it will kick start the season for them….

Cannot believe Scorchers lost that. Had multiple 10+ point leads and still lost. Just devastated.
Feel like game management was a big big part of it.

Seeing sheffield cameras pan to show all 19 of the fans at the game is shocking

Seeing sheffield cameras pan to show all 19 of the fans at the game is shocking I was going to say something about that. Very poor attendance. I will be charitable and say they are at home watching the World Cup final.

Sharks getting into a worrying losing habit at an important point in the season. 9 points from the backcourt is just not going to get it done. Without Nelson the next win looks a long way off - if he's still injured we need cover immediately.

Yep. Sharks look crap again this year. After a decent season last year and a decent run this year after the 0-4, back to mediocrity and malaise.
Don’t think Nelson is the answer imo either. He’s a good player but he can’t really shoot tbh, his best skill is attacking and finishing at the basket but doesn’t do it anywhere near enough.
Ogunyemi is too good to start on the bench. Seems daft to have Koch, Delpeche and Ogunyemi in the same team. One is unnecessary and I’d let Delpeche move on next year.
Glasgow is a shadow of the player he was last year. His shooting % must be horrendous this year.
And we all know who needs to move on the most but that will never happen.

Feel sorry for Glasgow Jnr as he's clearly not right and looks like he is not over his injury. Worries me that all these minutes now might affect his ability to get through the season. I think Nelson adds enough to create a bit of space for the rest of the team in this system and hopefully boost their shooting percentages - but agree he needs to be way more aggressive. He should take us over a 50% record. Team needs more balance as things stand.
