A little gutted but to be honest apart from a few show stopping dunks he hasn't really had an impact in most games.
In pre season against the Swedish Norkopping Dolphins he dominated so well it was like he was trying to compete to be this years league MVP.
It's ashame it hasn't quite been the same Duke since then although i wish him all the best.
I've already slandered on the other thread how poor the Eagles have been both in announcing this and with the content of this announcement.

I even went as far to say I liked the way this team was put together and that we were going to be a tough team to compete with this season. I can't believe now what I'm saying is the complete opposite. |

Was a complete farce that we signed him in the first place. No where near good enough at this level, but gets the odd dunk and bangs his chest so people think he's amazing.
To be honest, I had a bad feeling about this season when I heard the new we'd signed him. Didn't fill me with confidence regarding recruitment at all. That hunch has turned out to be a lot worse than I thought.
Just to cap it off they announce it inexplicably a week after it was obvious he was gone. What is going on at our club? Surely someone has to realise this looks like amateur hour at the moment. Everything to do with the pro club (I'm not including the foundation) is rotten.

The Duke was alright, looked decent enough first part of last season before he got injured. Barely played this season but in my opinion a perfectly passable BBL standard big.
Coach was getting just as little out of him as he has the rest of the revolving door of American forwards we've had this season - what does that tell you.

The Duke was alright, looked decent enough first part of last season before he got injured. Barely played this season but in my opinion a perfectly passable BBL standard big. Coach was getting just as little out of him as he has the rest of the revolving door of American forwards we've had this season - what does that tell you. I wasn't a fan last season and thought he was well below what I would expect of an import player. His hands were bad and was constantly fumbling pocket passes from Fletch that Maxwell was feasting on the prior season. He rarely finished anything around the rim that wasn't a dunk and had no post moves at all. His defence was inconsistent too and he'd often be caught out of position. His only saving grace was his rebounding. I always felt he played a little too pumped up and out of control at times, resulting in the above. |
