Felt like a much more competitive performance from Eagles with contributions deeper down the bench. Gladiators are a tough match up when they are on song.

We were the better team for 3 quarters and played a lot better then we had done in the most recent games.
Some poor decision making like hail mary 3 pointers and not taking an earlier time out down the stretch was what costed us.
But let's not worry atleast we only got to play Leicester on Friday.
Mind you at this point if we by some miracle beat the Riders I would consider it to be a very early Christmas present.

Was really looking forward to this game tonight unfortunately it was a total letdown lions are totally disrespectful every team moves to there bench for the introduction so the kids can run out with the players not lions stand in the middle of the court had to be asked by the guy on the changing room door to move over,onto the game the bench repeatedly standing up and giving it big time to the referee’s every time a call never went there way and god knows they got enough the refs I didn’t think could get any worse but these three managed it,I find it incomprehensible that the owners of lions can also almost own the league,was really looking forward to watching dekker boy was I disappointed he’s like a spoiled child throwing water at the bench kicking chairs punching the advertising board well I for one will not be going to the rematch it will be the first game I’ve missed since we arrived at the epsv

After a double winning weekend can't see any reason why Nix shouldn't make it three in a row. Realistically though a very difficult feat no matter what squad of Lions turns up. Cant really see more than cameo performances from several of the squad and hopefully that could leave a chance for Phoenix. Good luck!! We needed more than luck tonight. However we made them work for their win, an extremely strong team from starters to the end of the bench. Some excellent passing , movement and outside shooting from Lions but Nix never gave up playing some good team basketball as well. Before the start I reckoned keeping them to 15 points win was a moral victory for the more financially challenged members of the league!! And nice to hear that voice booming out from a certain Lions fan again. |

Yes we looked good until the fourth. Disappointed that Cohn spent so much time on the bench following his fourth foul. We were poor without him. Great game from Bailey though, unstoppable at times. Probably was worth the risk of putting him back in earlier In hindsight |

The game definitely slipped away with Cohn on the bench. To be fair he'd been sat at the table for a good few minutes but we never got the break to get him back in the game.
Frustrating, but hopefully a performance to build from. They desperately need to get Kennedy and Everitt going offensively.

As much as I can tell from Twitter, it seems as though Josh Jefferson and Elvisi Dusha got into it at some point but did anyone see the game?
