Do Surrey have any injured players back for this game? I'm hoping we have Conner and no further walking wounded! Beginning to wonder whether we'll ever see a full roster fit and ready to play this season.

Can’t see past a Riders and Flyers victories
Again really hoping for a much better performance from Menzies.

10 turnovers in that half. Despite being in control generally we must take better care of the ball. Menzies has been ok so far. If Surrey weren't fouling us so much it might be much closer. Been to the FT line a lot. Going forward, we need Washington back playing for us asap. If Mackenzie picked up an injury we'd be in big trouble. Thornton not making assists as often as we need him to.

We won and led pretty much from the tip-off BUT we are struggling to dominate with Thornton at the helm. Two assists and little evidence of ability to create something for the other players. Compare with Padiet Wang. Despite fouling out he offered so much more.

Good team performance by the Sharks. Could see Delpeche had a point to prove and RGJ back to last season form.

I would prefer Thornton to be a runaway success but I don't see that happening. He's had plenty of time to settle in and adapt to the players around him.

The team second in the league beating the team last in the league by only 9 points… with the team last in the league out scoring them in both Q3 and Q4. A win is a win… but I’m not sure I’d proclaim it a good result for Leicester. I for one expected better.

A win is a win but second half performance very ropey. Loving had an unusually quiet game without his recent sharp shooting

Although they lost by 9 points, I’d say it was a good game for Surrey all things considered. Can it be a good game for both teams, is that possible? 😆 Obviously if they’d have scored 10 more points it would have been a great game for them!

Have Scorchers just been unlucky with injuries (again) this season? There seemed to be expectation of a big turnaround with a new coach and then a new GM?

It’s certainly been a disappointing season so far for Surrey. I was certainly hoping for better with the changes made, but right now it’s just a repeat of last season again.

Riders still tough opponents despite not firing on all cylinders Scorchers can still turn around the season without their new squad having to beat us so soon 8th place is the target now Not second place Don't you think?

I've not seen enough of their games to have an informed opinion. Wang is definitely a great pick up. But I guess I have not seen much evidence of a change in identity or fortunes for the team as a whole?
