Worse for Riders was the injury to Walker. It was off the ball and he clutched his achilles when he fell. Medical staff around him and off to the dressing rooms before the end of the game. We have always been pretty lucky with injuries but I guess it’s bound to run out at sometime…..

Does anyone know when the Cup Quarterfinals will be drawer? I was looking at our schedule and wondering where we are going to fit our game in assuming it will be in November 2022.

Wow its looking terrible for Leicester. Losing record, worst start to the season in how long? If they don't have plymouth as their next 3 games they could be in real trouble. I know thoae Leicester tinted glasses dont provide clear vision (i miss my green ones) but this is a huge slide. Id be worried. Looks like it could be a horrific season a head. I say horrific because newcastle won 2 trophies one season and leicester fans called it terrible, Leicester will be lucky to get to 2 semi finals at this rate You have got to realise that Rob only has the best interests of his supporters at the front of his mind. In the upcoming months some of us will struggle to pay our bills, put on our heating and fall behind in paying our rent / mortgage etc. So if we dominate the league, cup and trophy that will put a massive strain on his supporters to come up with the cash to get tickets and travel to each final, Let alone paying London prices to visit the O2, So he thinking let’s pull in our belts and save ourself a few quid this season and hit them hard next year after Lions have gone bankrupt. Also it will be a pleasant change going in a different direction this season instead of lifting all that silverware, You ask the Eagles they love their new direction.

Bit of a random fact I've just worked out...today Hruban was the first Lion to play more than 30 minutes in a BBL game this season

What is going on with the Eagles, my word! Is it Bonfire Night Yet? as we certainly look like we need rockets shoved up us in we're going to get back into this game. I hope Steutel will be demanding more from the team right now or else Sharks are going to finish us in the 3rd Quarter! Didn’t turn up again versus Sharks they certainly have our number recently, disappointing after the excellent performance and result on Friday night against flyers

Scorchers looking miserable again this season.
Maybe Creon wasn't the problem ...

Does anyone know when the Cup Quarterfinals will be drawer? I was looking at our schedule and wondering where we are going to fit our game in assuming it will be in November 2022. No draw for the BBL Cup Quarter finals. See format for the competition on BBL site. Riders v Eagles Sharks v Gladiators Lions v Phoenix Flyers v Giants

To be honest if we play like we did yesterday any team could beat us. I hope on November 26 we will have found better form by then and can atleast give Riders a good game unlike last year.

With about 6:30 to go in the fourth quarter, he attempted to block a shot from David Sloan. He jumped and when he landed, that was when he went down. He signalled to the bench straight away that something was wrong.

Sheffield really had out number playing two from Koch, Depeche and Oganyemi all night

All depends how bad it is - a slight tear or ruptured.

All depends how bad it is - a slight tear or ruptured. Doesn't sound good The alternative to tear would be a bad bang/knock i.e. impact injury to his heel Which this doesn't sound like When your Achilles snaps you actually hear it pop so he will have known instantly if that's happened It's not career ending but it's definitely season ending if it's a snapped achilles Fingers crossed it's something else

While not definitely a career ending injury at the highest level of basketball only 2 players have successfully came back to the same standard.
If his achilles is gone, walkers done
And i hope its not done

Genuinely great game between Lions and Giants. Amazing advert for BBL. Throughout the entire game I just couldn't get used to seeing Vince at the away team bench down the other end of the court. It just looked wrong! But full credit to him, he's got a great Manchester team there, and they put up a real fight against London. They certainly had me worried a few times.

Finally got around to watching our game v Sharks. It was awful. I don't know what happened to the team who played so well on Friday. Poor shooting, poor decisions and poor discipline.
