Fair play to Phoenix fans in London as well Making themselves heard all game You can always hear the Phoenix travelling support. I think Nix aiming to have seats for supporters on .the team coach for away games this season. Many moons ago Jets needed Derby Storm (I think) to lose against Eagles in the last game of the regular season in order to qualify for the play offs. A whole bunch of them came up to Newcastle to cheer the Eagles on. They were loud and proud, Storm's players were terrible. Apparently the players did not want the play off place and played accordingly. Terrible game but great memories of the traveling fans.

Riders absolutely destroyed Vince’s circus 🎪 Zack Jackson was back to his absolute best. Some were worried when Thornton was missing, apparently he’s just Ill and not injured. After this performance I can see Riders really kick on and put a decent run of W’s together. Giants weren't able to contain our 3 point shooting. Jackson was effortlessly good despite not being able to play in the last two games. Suspect he's not fully fit yet either. To win so comprehensively against Giants without our starting American PG is some achievement. I thought we'd be well beaten and have therefore eaten two hats already as a penance. This months American PG lol, November is just around the corner, you mwy get a forth

Phoenix genuinely competed with Lions until close to the end of the third quarter
I didn't look at the end of match stats but one of the pundits said the problem is going to be Lions rarely have a player play more then 23 minutes a match now whereas Phoenix will have players playing 35 minutes
The depth kicked in at the end
That used to be how Riders would beat teams in the end as they tired
The lack of depth for Phoenix meant the end result looked far less competitive than the game was
Lions will be beaten in BBL this season

Irf is epot on. Lions all 12 court time, all scored minimum 7 mins, max 28 mins almost other 10 had minutes in the teens.
Nix 8 players main 4 30 minutes plus Anderson 38 mins.
Apart from the high quality of the squad their tactics are easy, content to play levelling basketball for 3 quarters then blow the opposition away in the last. Certainly worked with us last night.

Nix had to play really well to be level after 3 though And they did play really well

Lions will be beaten said IRF. Well given they played their bench for most of last night's game and the best player in the league wasn't even dressed I'll take that bet. Their defence is superb. They will do whatever it takes in any given night to get the W.

Listening to his post match interview on Sky his summary was straight out of the Rob Paternostro coaching manual.

Albeit a foul was given

Great game by Nix but similar to alot of teams so far with London the car ran out of gas.
I agree with IRF and have said with London whilst they're winning at the moment. With different campaigns to juggle and alot of travelling I reckon fatigue will catch up to them and they will drop a couple of games eventually.
Having said that unless similar to the last 2 seasons the wheels fall off mid season in January I cannot see anyone except London winning the league.

They should do the slam But Rob P for one will be doing everything in his power to stop that happening He will be on a mission right now thats for sure
