Riders vs Giants
Unless all our injured players are back and fit, I fear this will end badly.

Well looks like another exciting Friday night of games. Would have preferred Giants vs Riders for Sky although London should be on a high after there Eurocup win and remind those like myself who missed the game why the team representing the UK in the Euro Cup.
As for the Eagles whilst I pray for our first win in the championship given the performance of Bristol so far I don't think it will be this game unless something clicks in place and we've suddenly signed Romeo and Macbeth to support Hamlet on offence. I also hope Mockford is back for us.

Hopefully the Lions players who didn’t get to play much or at all on Tuesday will get some decent minutes this evening. Players like Ward-Hibbert and Van Oostrum.

Not sure another guard (a back up one at that) was ever the final piece? To me a very strange signing

Meanwhile Riders (without our starting point guard Thornton) are destroying Giants in the third to make the game safe

Hallelujah we finally got a league win. Shows how much having some depth can make especially when the refs were absolute garbage particularly in the 4th Quarter. How on earth the player who pulled Johnson under the basket wasn't done for unsportsman baffles me?
As for the game we were pretty bad defensively allow Flyers to offensively rebound which I felt was due to foul trouble forcing us to play softer. However we made up for it in 3 point shots keeping the Flyers away. And that Dunk by Duke I will be surprised if it doesn't make next week BBL plays of the week.
As for Bristol nice to see the bully ball against us isn't going to work for them this season. If we can pick up a win against Sharks and then Pats next week then our luck might finally begin to turn.

Wow, didn't expect that. Riders were brilliant.
Everyone played really well, but Zack Jackson and Patrick Whelan deserve a special mention.

Riders absolutely destroyed Vince’s circus 🎪 Zack Jackson was back to his absolute best. Some were worried when Thornton was missing, apparently he’s just Ill and not injured.
After this performance I can see Riders really kick on and put a decent run of W’s together.

After this performance I can see Riders really kick on and put a decent run of W’s together. Giants weren't able to contain our 3 point shooting. Jackson was effortlessly good despite not being able to play in the last two games. Suspect he's not fully fit yet either. To win so comprehensively against Giants without our starting American PG is some achievement. I thought we'd be well beaten and have therefore eaten two hats already as a penance.

Much better from Eagles and very good shooting. Bit concerned about the number of offensive boards we gave up but Flyers were beasts under the hoop. The shots taken comparison is scary but we won and it seemed pretty comfortable. Will watch the game back before commenting further. Nice to have another Donny Johnson in the team, very good performance from him. The original (back in the day) wasn't too shabby either.
