Phoenix have signed former Flyer Marcus Evans,
Evans had started this season in the Swedish top flight, averaging 10.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.0 steels across 3 games.
Jordan Strawberry has been released.

Seriously after a poor performance last weekend there needed to be changes. Sadly Strawberry's style of play wasn't suited to the way Nix operate, the ball was sticking with him far too long. New signing Evans impressed me last season, from memory he scored 22 in one game against us, it was what was needed to take the pressure off Larry.

Eton mess created pre-season. Attempt to add Strawberry but Strawberry then dropped - the whole thing is just no good.
Strawberry chucked after proving to be too green.

Jordan Strawberry has been released. Sensible decision and looks like a decent upgrade, how Daniels hasn't been cut as well is beyond me though, he's been dreadful. |

I also heard Nat Coombes call Javion Ogunyemi a "British big" on the Sky commentary of Giants vs Phoenix, although, like you, I still have no idea where he got that information from. |

On the grainy preseason stream against the Magic he didn't look in great shape. |

Another shuffle of the pack from Nix releasing squad player Robbie Graham allowing him to move over to Irish club , St Vincents. Robbie is a crowd favourite whose court time has been very limited this season, he represented Ireland over the summer and the move is designed to give him more court time. Best of luck Robbie.
