There's a new documentary coming out on Netflix on Friday about the 'Redeem Team' where the US started getting embarrassed on the international stage and did something about it. Should be a good watch.
Also for those who like nostalgia, I found a couple of great documentaries on the Disney channel, about the bad boy Pistons and the Shaq and Penny Magic.
Great trips down memory lane. Especially the Pistons, can't believe how physical the league was back then. In one clip, Robert Parish hits Bill Laimbeer with a forearm to the head, taking him down - not even ejected! These teams played with genuine disdain for each other, I kind of miss that.

Anyone seen the Redeem Team doc? It was trending as the most watched thing on Netflix earlier in the week. I'm about halfway through it - really interesting to see what was going on behind the scenes at the time they lost their cloak of invincibility. At the time I was just enjoying seeing them lose (you know, typical British thing, rooting for the underdogs!) and I was actually in America for the 2004 disaster - it was hilarious seeing the reactions of people in bars as they were losing. But I never really thought about why or what they could do to change it - sure, the players, but the documentary is interesting in terms of the coaching and management changes too. Definitely worth a watch!
