Hmm, they charged me 143 CAD which equated to £98! I have contacted them to ask why, when their email stated it would be 119.99 CAD. Bastards! Not sure what happened there but still good value, as it is now at the UK price (that's come down massively!)
Well that took some doing! Been trying to get the difference refunded for the last month or so and they finally confirmed they will process it today. They stalled so much, first asking for a screen shot of the email THEY sent me where it said the tax was included in the price, then a screen shot showing what was actually charged (as if they can't see that already!) then they just kept saying the matter has been escalated for investigation and they'll get back to me when they have an update! I kept chasing and they kept saying the same thing. Then today I asked what their complaints procedure is and how to escalate this, as it seems they are just going to say this same line over and over to me. 5 minutes later, voila! Confirmation they will process the refund.
Shocking that it took so much effort to get it sorted (that's if they didn't just say that to shut me up for a bit!) I mean what was there to investigate, what could possibly take so long? It felt all the way through like they were just trying to keep the money, but its only about £20! They probably spent more on staff wages for the time it took responding to my messages!
