Just wondered if anyone else subscribes to this? I appreciate very few post anything about the NBA so I might be the only one! But if yes, what is the fee this year? I ask because about 6 years ago, I used a VPN to make it think I was in Canada and paid less than half the UK price in Canadian dollars. And every year since, the recurring billing has charged me the Canadian price! Well I'm not going to complain am I? Its about £75 whereas I think the UK price is north of £200 now?

haha well luckily they are taking payment in a couple of days - usually I question why they need to take it so early, but this time I'm glad!

They’ve made it cheaper this year but it’s still expensive, I will be subscribing though, can’t be bothered messing around with VPN’s etc so will pay the full price, I have heard if you do it on a VPN from India it’s incredibly cheap though

Yeah, I bet. I think the first time I tried it I was in Argentina and it was very cheap, but the next time Canada was the best my vpn could do - but to be honest I get it at a great price and the recurring billing means I don't have to faff about so I'm happy to keep it at that. I just find it amusing that they have never tried to find a way to stop people doing it as its a well known hack.

Just had a look - £99 for the season or £129 for premium (which you don't really need). That has come down a lot. Thats good value, certainly better than what Sky Sports costs (if that was the only thing you got it for).

Out of interest, if you sign up via a VPN to get a better price do you then have to continue using a VPN to watch?

Nope, I never have had to do that. I guess the account can and does work anywhere once you're subscribed.

Came here to ask if it was £99 this year instead of £250. Well happy with that.

Hmm, they charged me 143 CAD which equated to £98! I have contacted them to ask why, when their email stated it would be 119.99 CAD. Bastards! Not sure what happened there but still good value, as it is now at the UK price (that's come down massively!)

Is it just me that hates the new version of the League Pass app on Android TV?
Its so slow and clunky and, again might just be me, but they're not editing the games down as much so we have to sit through loads more in arena nonsense when trying to watch the games the next day.
Happy to be £99 but would prefer to pay £200 and it work!

Yeah I have found there doesn't seem to be an option to watch the highlights or the condensed game? You say they're not editing the games down as much - have you found any that had those options? I can only watch the games in full which is no good when there were 12 of them last night! I want to watch the highlights and see a bit of every team.

Ah, in fact there are more options available - you have to highlight over the game you want, and pick 'game details' then a choice of condensed options come up. They've made it harder to navigate but actually more options for viewing, so thats good.

Happy to be £99 but would prefer to pay £200 and it work! I've had league pass for years but always watched on a laptop, tablet or phone. We finally got round to getting a new TV and I was really looking forward to watching league pass on it. The stream quality for me is just terrible. Picture quality is great. And runs really well for about 10 minutes. But after that I get a 5/6 second buffering pause pretty much every possession. Makes it unwatchable. And we have good Internet speed, have tried a wired connection. All other apps work at top speed, top quality. Really disappointed so far

Also agree that it's not been edited down as much/as well this year so far

I had buffering the first time I used it this week but refreshed and that seemed to sort it. Been ok since, but I use my laptop. Was annoyed last year after buying a Samsung TV to find it doesn't carry the league pass app, but I'm fine watching on my laptop. I work from home so I like to have a game running while working, ok I'm not properly watching but I can at least follow how the game is unfolding and go back on any outstanding plays if I hear the commentators getting excited! It sure beats the old days of going to work and having to wait until the evening to watch anything!

The new app is pretty awful, I’m using on my fire stick I haven’t had any problem with logging or buffering or anything, It just feels very clunky to navigate compared to last year which was incredibly simple, currently watching my Spurs, Jeremy has struggled these first 3 games, not just his shot but he’s kind of just standing on the perimeter most of the time, He’s had a few highlight defensive plays including blocking Embiid a few minutes ago but his defence overall has not been amazing
Very early days though obviously

I know, I remember one year when I was a student and couldn't afford sky sports or Pontel, I had a guy who recorded the games for me and would drop them round my house! Very good of him to do that. It was the only way to actually catch any action. Then we were reduced to one game a week on channel 5. So much better now!
