I went to one game at the Brighton centre and thought it was an excellent venue for BBL.

For me the BBL should be 16 teams split into 4 groups, you play each team in your own group 4 times (2H & 2A) for 12 games then Home & Away against the 12 other teams for 24 games meaning a 36-game schedule.
Top 2 in each Group go to the Playoffs with the Semis & Final being played as a Finals weekend
I've probably messed up my maths somewhere but hopefully my plan makes sense to some of you.

Now that would be the dream. Although I would prefer to see a best of 3 playoffs and you could probably mix the BBL Cup format around as well to make it so each competition is somewhat different again.

That would be great but as has been pointed out the new BBL ownership has raised the barrier to entry which prices most prospective new franchises out of the league. I don’t think there’s going to be a second Scottish team. Getting back to 12 teams would be good.
