BBL - London Towers, then the Mersey Tigers, now no one, but of course still follow as neutral
NBL - Nostalgic memories of the Oxford Devils, played for Swindon Sonics, well sat on there bench mostly and scored a few points when trusted to go on lol
NBA - not so into it as once was but i guess its still the Toronto Raptors
Euroleague - Olympiacos, well thats the team i stated i was a fan of when i brought tickets for the final four in London a few years ago, i was put in with there fans and it was the only time ive ever had to football style stand up all game lol
Tbh the only teams i now really care if they win or not are both the mens and womens Great Britain national teams

After the Bears went to the wall and I moved away from Worthing I gradually lost interest in the British leagues, but I'm now in Sheffield so with the Sharks local I'm hoping to get to some games again, buy could never become a "fan" in the true sense of the word!
In the NBA it's still Thunder, but with whispers abounding about a possible expansion team going to my beloved Seattle one day, I'd be ready to switch to that if the chance came up.
Other than that yeah, it's the GB teams including the wheelchair teams who I loved watching at the Paralympics. Wheelchair basketball is fantastic to watch when it gets flowing and both teams are competitive.

BBL - Previously London Towers, and now London Lions.
WBBL - Sevenoaks Suns
NBA - Previously the Chicago Bulls (back in the 90s), but haven't really seriously followed the NBA for about 20 years. But if I were to choose a team now I'd choose the Toronto Raptors... which is a little odd as I've never been to Canada and have been to many places in the US, but I like the BBL connections the Raptors currently have.

BBL - Newcastle Eagles, my local team and I don't really know what I'd do without that club. I've had job offers up in Edinburgh and down in London and couldn't leave a city with such an ingrained basketball infrastructure. I feel so lucky to have what we have up here.
NBA - Generally flit between teams that are fun to watch. Mainly watching Warriors, Grizzlies and Hornets this season. Always had a soft spot for the Raptors especially since Fab joined them.
Really enjoying the NBA this year apart from the disruption of the past few weeks.

BBL - Leicester Riders. Been watching since they got kicked out of the Granby Halls and started playing at the ‘low ceiling’ De Montfort Uni sports hall and also Loughborough Uni. Seen some desperate times, getting thrashed every week, nearly going bust etc. Really it should have put me off for life but I got hooked! Clearly I’m enjoying watching Riders at the moment but I’m not stupid enough to realise that sports team fortunes change like the wind!

BBL - Started with Chester Jets in the glory days, then Everton Tigers, then I got involved playing/practicing with them, then the Mersey Tigers after that and we all know what happened there....
NBA - Never really supported a team per se because I just cant connect properly with a team overseas. Ive liked different eras of teams - Kobe/Shaq LA, the 04 Pistons, Gasol/Kobe Lakers, and strangely the Gay/Randolph/Conley/Gasol Grizzlies. Guess overall Im just more into grit and grind teams but it was hard not to enjoy those Laker teams.
NCAA - Duke Blue Devils. Thats gonna get me a loooot of hate haha.

I wonder how Basketball in this country would have been if every team was affiliated with a football team

Ah Everton Tigers, then Mersey Tigers was it? 🤣 I played for Everton before Mersey mate haha!!!! I wasnt too keen on Everton before I was training down there, I distinctly remember training with the Jets when Everton hosted the derby at the Echo Arena - on setanta sports and everything and everyone was expecting an Everton walkover. I think Cheshire were out of sight by the end of Q1. Hilarious.

BBL. Leicester Riders. I’ve been watching them since they were Leicester Planters, then Leicester Walkers, nourishment, Renault and now Jelsons, There maybe a couple of others I’ve missed. NBA. Got to be the New York Nicks, I was the first arena I’d visited in the States.

The Riders are the longest running club in the country aren't they? Kind of the BBL's answer to the Knicks and Celtics! Tough gig being a Knicks fan for the last 20 years Urinal, but better days finally look like they are ahead. Its a shame for the NBA as a whole that the Knicks have sucked so bad for so long, they should be the league's flagship team perhaps along with the Lakers but have just offered nothing until last season, since 1999!

NBA is the Spurs, every other league is generally which ever team has the most Brits on it, so this year it’s mostly the Giants in the BBL

I wonder how Basketball in this country would have been if every team was affiliated with a football team Years ago and I mean years ago...The league had a team called Manchester United with the kit being the same colour, sponsor and club badge, They were pretty well stacked too...but I do recall a little team called Leicester Riders causing an upset by knocking them out of a two legged cup tie if I remember right. With the second leg in Manchester.

NBL : Ormskirk St Helens and Myerscough.

Yeah, I knew about Everton, Manchester United, Sir John Hall was involved with the Eagles when they relocated from Sunderland although from what I can see, never used Newcastle United as their name. (Knew about this through Doddie Weir's book as he played for Newcastle's rugby union team) Sir David Murray also had Glasgow Rangers but they only lasted a season. Don't Cardiff City have a basketball section or did that end?
