Duke Shelton playing in the friendly versus USA select tonight. He was averaging 14 and 10 last season before going down injured and had originally signed with a team in France.

Bizarre tactic but makes a bit if sense - try players in matches before you sign them! I suppose Eagles should have tried that with Broadway

Don't see Shelton as a step forward at all, he was bang average before getting injured last season. No thanks.

Eagles have said today that he was a guest player and was getting fitness whilst he looks for a new club. That's a pity if its true and makes me question whether saying there was still players to come were legit or if this really is the end of our receuitment. Doesn't seem like the Eagles to lie though but as we already have seen this is a new shape team. But looking at our roster being short stacked we will be struggling with injuries by Christmas I reckon. |
