Lions leading a close game in Belgium, Josh Sharma seems to have really impressed this pre season, Kareem Queeley consistently been one of the top scorers too which is very nice to see, I would love it if he is able to fill a lot of the missing minutes from Tarik Philip, I also have to say Ryan Schmidt is really really impressing me every time we get a glimpse into the timeout huddles he seems a very impressive coach

Sharks have lost all 3 pre season games at a tournament in Portugal.
However, all the opponents were top level European teams and the Sharks performed admirably. They played very well
New signings look decent. Ogunyemi needs to catch up but the 2 guards looked good.

Giants romped to a 116-55 win over USA Select yesterday in their first pre-season game.
Even accounting for the level of opposition it was a very eye-catching performance.
Team was a split squad of seven 'first teamers' and three trialists, with Rahmon Fletcher not suited up.
Standout was probably Tajh Green who scored 25 points and was very, very fun - if he sustains that level he'll become a league wide fan favourite.
Dirk Williams was his usual effortless self - making threes and driving the lane, and racking up 20 points without breaking sweat.
Corey Johnson was 6th man and scored a ton of threes in the second half to make the lead embarrassing. Used in the Leicester role - he'll be a problem.
Anthony Roberson and Nathan Robinson look very promising options. Former was very effective driving to the basket despite getting no change from the officials, latter a very clean ball handler.
At the break, Vince had clearly tweaked the defence as USA just couldn't find a good quality shot all half. They were resorting to off balance pot shots and lumps into the paint. Over half of their points that half were on the flukier side of things or free throws.
Very promising stuff for MCR given three days training, and them being able to mix in the league's best point and probably a couple of the EuroBasket team once they return.
