I remember against the Eagles last season in our first match against Surrey he sadly ended up hurting himself. And afterwards never came back to the court but I could see him in the wheelchair up on the balcony section.
I felt really bad for him as you never want to see a player go down like that regardless which team their on. I remember when he was playing Surrey had the momentum as well if my memory is correct. If he had have completed the season then perhaps Surrey would have beaten us as well.
If he is well then it is a good pick for Surrey although I imagine if is injury prone I have a feeling his options may have been limited. Either way I hope he makes a good comeback.

I made the journey up to Newcastle for that game, I was seated behind him, you could see it in his face, Surrey were on top that game and losing drew that game was a massive game changer, Fletch was so apologetic as it was a coming together with them both. Having him around the team towards the end of the season was a good thing. And I hope he can stay fit and healthy

Remember when London City Royals came marching into the BBL a few years ago, treading on everyone's toes, and this was one of the marquee signings they were going to boss the league with. How times have changed.

How times have changed. I get your point, but if he wasn't injured Lawrence would have been the exact marquee Brit Lions would have targeted this summer
