I could’ve put this in the other thread but I think this one deserves its own, We are approaching the point where Lions are going to have half of the GB squad in their team

It has to be into 7 figures, Ovie alone will be on a couple of hundred thousand unless he took a paycut to come home, then the 2 from Turkey won’t be cheap, they were both very highly regarded starters in a league where those kind of players are earning hundreds of thousands a year |

Okay, so on the one hand I'm excited to see so much quality coming in but on the other saddened because no one in the BBL is going to be able to complete with them. I'm not sure if this is good for the league.

Which is the only league that release all of their finances publicly teams generally spend around one third of their entire budget on player salaries, so London could be spending under 1 million on salaries and still meet the budget requirements |

And Lions are definitely signing players who could play for middle/lower ACB teams for sure. |
