Think the cup final deserves it’s own thread fibalivestats.dcd.shared.geniussports.com/u/BBL/2035494/Will be live on Sky Mix and Sky Sports Arena Apparently they’ve broken the ticket sales record which is good, I am considering grabbing a last minute ticket but not sure what kind of view that will give me Anyone going? Any neutrals have a preference on who wins? |

All seats in the arena have a clear unobstructed view, but like all big arenas, some may be a bit distant from the court. Birmingham Arena is a very good venue, with good transport links, and lots of food and drink options for pre or post game within an easy walking distance.

I can't lose really As a neutral I will be supporting the Giants on this one but after last night if I was to put money on it I'd definately back Riders to beat them. But it all depends on how both teams respond and as already proven in a one off match anything can happen. Although according to their Wikipedia pages Leicester have only won 15 trophies whilst Newcastle have won 28. So even if they win this one theirs a long way to go still. I just hope whatever happens Covid doesn't end up disrupting any of the teams this time like last year. Even if it did work in the Eagles favour last year. |

Winning at Cheshire yesterday will have been a relief for Riders after a VERY shaky first quarter. We never really got into top gear until Q4 and there's a massive disparity between that performance and our usual level. However, I think it was a good thing to make sure there's no complacency in the players' minds that lifting the trophy will be a foregone conclusion. Giants are formidable opponents. It should be a cracking final.

It should be a cracking final. Yeah thought we had you there until that 4th quarter. Can't work out if we started to play badly or was it Riders that made us play badly? Think it was the latter although we did start to look tired, our defence was 1 step away from you and that was all it took.. |
