Just saw on Instagram that Scorchers have signed US forward Devin Thomas,
Who averaged 15.7 Pts & 6.9 rebounds in the Danish Basketlgaen, Shooting 41% from three on 4.2 attempts per game.
Could this be the missing piece in Scorchers puzzle that finally gets them some more W’s

Had to do something, and I don’t think it can make them worse, hopefully they get a few wins now as it’s not good to see teams who can’t even be competitive

Surreys form doesnt seem to impact their attendance? Is that due to a good crowd or giving away freebies?

Not sure how many freebies they give away each game, I didn't think it was many, but I've put it down to Scorchers (and their previous incarnations) having a very loyal fan base. Of course even the most loyal can be tested, so they need to do something to improve results. |
